3 Pool Party in Bangkok you must check out
Summer is already here in Bangkok, the sun is blasting, it's hot, everybody's excited... That means one thing. It's time to go hard at Pool Party in Bangkok again!
Don’t get me wrong, Pool Parties in Bangkok go on all year long.
Every month, you have one somewhere. Usually we're lucky enough to get one every single weekend in Bangkok. (on Saturdays)
But what is the difference between them? Which one should you go to? Which one is the best? Here are my 3 favorite Pool Party in Bangkok.
1 - So Sofitel Pool Party
The best venue, the best view and the most beautiful people.
One that you must attend while you’re in Bangkok?
So Sofitel Pool Party should definitely be the number one on your list.
The pool is located on the 7th floor with a view over Lumpini Park. It's simply unbeatable.
The Pool area is quite small so if you want a table, go there early or book in advance.
You got 2 areas with 2 different kind of music. EDM and electro next to the pool and Hip-Hop/R&B on the other side of the building.
It’s probably one of the most expensive too though. Entrance is 600THB with 1 drink, but it’s definitely worth it!
2 - Westin Pool Party at Westin Grande Sukhumvit
Great party, great management and always packed.
I had to say “great management” when talking about Westin or my friend Nicole would kill me. (check her blog and what she has to say about the Westin Pool Party)
Still, over the last year it became one of the biggest event in Bangkok. Great music, good crowd... they definitely live up to the hype.
You'll probably see some of the same people as the So Sofitel Pool Party (it's usually the same crowd from one Pool Party to another, got to put that Bikini Body to work )
Regarding the music, only one stage here, covering all sort of styles with a few DJs. From EDM to Electro through Deep House.
The only thing is the pool area that look smaller than other pool parties.
So get there super early to have a place to seat or a table. Or stay up and dance all night! Up to you
3 - Blast Pool Party at DoubleTree Hilton.
Techno/House music and a large dance floor.
Blast Sessions offer a different set of music compare to other pool parties.
Entrance and drinks tend to be cheaper which is always nice.
Also, they're often running special deals or packages for either early bookings or groups.
Other than that, the place is great too and unlike the other pool parties, they have a large dance floor that is covered (great during rainy season).
Worth checking out.
A few tips before your next Pool Party in Bangkok?
Most of them have good deals on bottles and are usually a bit cheaper than regular clubs.
So feel free to take advantage of that.
And when it gets crowded you’ll be happy to get a table and somewhere you can put your drink, trust me.
Get a Locker
With experience, it’s definitely a must. They’re often limited so you better come early.
They also cost around 200 THB + a deposit, so make sure you bring enough cash.
But as most of those parties are packed it’s a nightmare to keep an eye on your change or your bag as you’re getting smashed.
Stay safe, take selfies early on, then lock your dry clothes and all your valuable inside and keep some cash in your bikini.
Models and Gym Addicts at Pool Parties
A lot of the Pool Party in Bangkok invite models, so don’t be surprised by all this beautiful girls and guys going around. You’ll get used to it.
And of course it’s a pool party so some people are here to show off.
After all, when you’ve been sweating your ass off all week at the gym, you want to show those muscles.
Make sense. But don’t be impressed, it still Bangkok, not Ibiza or Miami. People are a lot more relaxed here.
In Short, what you should remember before a Pool Party in Bangkok
- Go there early to get a table and a locker (and often a free drink or open bar for 1 hour)
- Bing cash! Don’t be cheap, if you have to do it, go all in!
- Workout! Ahaha, I can tell you that I’m ready now every time I go there

What about the other Pool Party in Bangkok?
I haven’t been there in a while so it’s hard to judge.
But I plan on hitting all of them in the next few months so message me on Twitter if you want to tag along.
Which one is your favorite and why? Let me know in the comment…
